What is AEI's contribution to their Partners?
  • Your choice of volunteers.
    Are you looking for website support? Veterinarians? Animal care workers?  All three? AEI will work with you to provide the exact support you are looking for from volunteers. After we have established your volunteer needs we will then only send you volunteers that you will find useful and be of help to your organization. This can be updated and changed throughout the partnership.

  • Advertising in vet schools, universities, colleges and professional associations.
    We will be working hand in hand with schools around the world to help students find meaningful placements that are related to their field of study. By partnering with AEI your organization will be seen by thousands of students and professionals.

  • Expanded online presence.
    AEI has a large social media reach due to its world-wide partnerships. Partnering with AEI will mean social media viewers will be privileged with up-to-the-minute updates about your organization, which they can share throughout their social media connections.

  • Exemplary volunteers.
    AEI is staffed by an experienced volunteer coordinator and aveterinarian who have spent their professional lives working with animal organizations whose workforce are primarily volunteers. We know who will make great volunteers and why. AEI will recruit, interview and provide preliminary training (through ethical travel and medical manuals) for all of the volunteers before they start their volunteer placement.

What is the Partner's contribution to AEI?
  • Assist AEI with finding suitable volunteer housing for the AEI clients.
    Housing can be established volunteer housing, hostels, home stays or hotels. AEI’s client fees completely cover the price of housing and food once they have been established.

  • Emergency assistance to clients.
    While AEI clients are volunteering with you, you will be their emergency contact.

  • Photo sharing.
    To better market and advertise your organization we ask that you provide AEI with high quality photos. Photos of animals, volunteers (and staff) in action and the surrounding geography work the best.

  • Expenses paid (flight not included) volunteer experience for two AEI Field Officers.
    AEI asks that you provide a 2 week placement experience so we may better market, advertise and talk about your organization and the volunteer experience.  You would provide the same living and work conditions that AEI clients would experience (included meals, volunteer tasks and living in established volunteer housing). This experience is fundamental to AEI’s mission. We will be sending volunteers of all trades and backgrounds to your organization. We want to represent it in a correct and true light.
